Wedding Dayz in Newark

Yesterday was my first wedding of 2016 !

Beautiful last day of Winter in the stunning grounds of Newark Castle. The couple were a joy to photograph along with their little family member due in the next few months!!

Had a bridal prep with the bride at her avec le house bunnies(very cute!) then hotfooted it over to the ceremony , they were using a veedub as a wedding car which is always a good sign!Wedding was at the lovely Gilstrap Newark, where the staff there are so friendly & professional, nothing is too much trouble for them.

After the emotional wedding, we all went into the stunning castle grounds for a few photographs then over to the Ram, literally across the zebra crossing! The Ram is one of my favourite places in Newark- its so warm & cosy & stylish & again the staff are brilliant ! The food looked A..mazing! Bride & her mum & bridesmaid had been super busy in the run up to the wedding & had made bouquets from knitting and handmade bags for the bridesmaids that matched the men's knitted buttonholes! All super on trend with the re-emergence of Craftwork. Alsothe brides mum had made the wonderful cake too ! is there no end to that womans talent! The day was filled with Laughter , a lot of Love and giggles ( mainly from brides mum ! So i left them after their emotional & funny speeches to sit down with their lovely guests and treat themselves to all the finery The Ram has to offer.
